One of the fastest growing “Work from Home” opportunities is what I like to call “Treasure Hunting”. What many people seem to underestimate is the little and even big treasures you can find in a thrift shop. Thrift shops are a great place go get quality goods for an extraordinary price.
Recently, a close friend of mines wife found a purse at Goodwill. The name brand on the purse was Furla. She bought the purse for 99 cents. Once she had arrived home, she looked up the price and it was worth $2200.
Finding extraordinarily priced goods at thrift shops and garage sales are a great way to make money. Simply go to your local thrift shops or browse around garage sales on the weekends and go on a shopping spree looking for cheap things that have a brand name on them.
You couldn’t even imagine how easy it is to find brands that sell for top dollar on the internet or even through resale stores. When out shopping in thrift shops, look for top brands such as Louis, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Hermes, and similar top brands.
Before going shopping, it is a must to read and learn about the brands of merchandise you are seeking. With forgeries running rampant, it’s necessary to be able to tell a real from a fake. Don’t think that you won’t be the one to be stuck in the middle of these situations. You don’t want to buy something for 99 cents, to find out, well, its worth 99 cents
Taking these items you find to a local resale shop, or even taking the time to list them on Craigslist or eBay can bring some extraordinary cash. I personally suggest listing the items on eBay because many times there are collectors or fanatics on a specific brand that they will pay top dollar for.
Keep your eyes peeled.
